THE COPING KIT: Strategies for Day-To-Day Coping
We are happy to present the revised 2007 Coping Kit, the result of FGTA's ongoing efforts to provide support for families and friends of drug users. This Kit contains tips for identifying signs of drug use, strategies for meeting day-to-day challenges and answers to a variety of questions about drugs and addiction. It also includes contact numbers for further information and resources.
We would like to stress that this Kit is a "work in progress". We have attempted to cover a wide range of issues and problems which come up for families who are struggling with addiction, and have encouraged input from may people who have had first-hand experience. However, we recognize that there may be things that we have missed, areas that we have not covered, and maybe even information with which you do not agree.
We would like to hear feedback from you. We would also welcome information and advice from your own experience which you think would be helpful to add to our next edition. You can e-mail us here, or contact us at the address listed below.
